FAQ

Questions about Live Pilot

The essentials on pricing, timing, criteria and completing the pilot.

Does Live Pilot really cost €0?

Yes. There is no subscription fee or BusPortal commission during the pilot. Your bank may charge a separate fee for processing online payments.

Can the pilot run for more than 45 days?

There is no automatic extension. Delays on the operator’s side do not extend the term. If BusPortal delays the launch, the clock is paused for the corresponding period.

What if we do not complete at least 10 trips and sell 100 tickets?

The pilot is considered not to have generated enough data for an assessment. It is not extended automatically; both sides record the reason and decide whether there are grounds for a separate new launch.

What happens after Live Pilot?

BusPortal prepares a report within five working days. After a joint review, the operator chooses Pay per ticket or a fixed plan, or takes its data and stops using the system.
